What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a fat-reduction treatment that encourages lipolysis through the controlled application of freezing temperatures. This safe, FDA-cleared device is one of only a few non-surgical solutions to stubborn fat.

How Does It Work?

The process of cryolipolysis is very simple. Scientists have discovered that fat cells, when deeply cooled, become “damaged.” The body responds to the changes in these cells by draining them through lymphatic drainage.

How Soon Will I See Results?

CoolSculpting elicits a natural elimination response in the body. Therefore, results become noticeable over time. You will begin to notice an improvement in the treatment area one to three months after treatment. Final results appear at approximately six months.

How Does CoolSculpting Differ From Kybella For Submental Fullness?

KYBELLA, FROM ALLERGAN, IS AN INJECTABLE DEOXYCHOLIC ACID.

Research has demonstrated that this substance is relevant to the breakdown of fat in the body. To treat submental fullness, or the double chin, clinicians perform about 30 tiny injections in the area beneath the chin. We make this comfortable with a topical anesthetic. CoolSculpting and Kybella both cause fat cells to die off and leave the body. However, at our office in Bend CoolSculpting does this with temperature, not a chemical solution. Both treatments produce results over a period of time.

What Is CoolSculpting Treatment Like?

With CoolSculpting Chin Bend patients have the treatment delivered via a small applicator that is applied to the area beneath the chin. Through this applicator, the fat cells beneath the surface are cooled. Due to the intensity of the cold, you may feel slight tenderness or tingling. These sensations will diminish into a numb feeling after a few minutes. Because the hand piece pulls tissue up and away, it is possible to feel a mild pinching sensation.

The most asked question about CoolSculpting. Does it work? So not only we’re going to get rid of those fat cells here, it’s also going to help tighten this part of the neck. It does work, and personally I have been doing cool sculpting for eight years. We just reached over ten treatments and the reason it’s so popular is because it works well and you can see result in about three months. So, cloths fit better, everything looks better. The bulge the stubborn fat that it usually bothers them is gone. So, our patients are extremely happy with their results. That’s the way we make sure we take before and after pictures, and we can display you after or before and after pictures because the results are visible and long lasting. Truly, most of our patients are so happy at the end of the day how we treat them, how we follow up with them. The results there before and after pictures. They keep coming back. I think that’s the best compliment we can get. It’s just kind of like getting in cold water. Once you’re in it for a little while, you, you, get used to it, but I didn’t find it I didn’t find it too uncomfortable. How long do CoolSculpting results last?
The good news is that eliminated fat cells cannot return, so the fat reduction you will experience with CoolSculpting is permanent. However, the remaining fat cells will continue to behave normally. Significant weight change may impact results as fat cells naturally swell and shrink with weight change.
Who is an ideal candidate for CoolSculpting chin treatment?
CoolSculpting is a safe and effective treatment for most generally healthy adults with excess submental fat. However, some medical conditions can prevent patients from receiving CoolSculpting Chin. Such conditions include cold agglutinin disease, cryoglobulinemia, and paroxysmal cold hemoglobulinuria.

What are the risks and side effects of CoolSculpting?
During your procedure, you may experience a pulling or tugging sensation. This is completely normal. After your treatment, you may feel localized pain, aching, or stinging. These side effects may last about two weeks. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, and bruising may also occur but should resolve within a few weeks. Rarely, a serious side effect called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia may occur. This condition most often occurs in men and involves the enlargement of treated cells. While this side effect is a purely cosmetic concern, it requires surgical correction.
